Privacy Policy

1. On-device information

FinishDial stores setup facts, safety confirmations, physical observations, controlled-test history, proven recipes, purchase-access state, and app preferences locally. The App has no operational cloud account, sync, remote recommendation engine, advertising, or developer-operated database.

You can remove local records inside the App where offered or by deleting the App. We cannot retrieve, restore, or remotely delete information that never leaves your device.

2. Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple processes the optional non-consumable purchase through your App Store account. RevenueCat validates the transaction, restores access, prevents purchase fraud, and reports purchase performance. RevenueCat may process an automatically generated anonymous app-user identifier, product identifier, entitlement status, transaction or receipt information, purchase and restore dates, device and operating-system information, locale, and currency. We do not send RevenueCat your name, email address, coating or equipment details, observations, recipes, or payment-card details.

3. Firebase Analytics

FinishDial uses Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate onboarding, preflight, paywall, purchase, guided-step, and recipe-save activity. Firebase may automatically process an app-instance identifier, app lifecycle and interaction events, device and app information, approximate location derived from network information, and in-app purchase event data.

FinishDial does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, does not use the advertising identifier for cross-app tracking, does not set a Firebase user ID, and does not send coating names, equipment names, physical observations, recipe content, free text, customer information, precise location, or safety documents as analytics event parameters. Firebase is not used for Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Messaging, Crashlytics, Remote Config, advertising, or remote recommendations in this version. See Firebase privacy information.

4. Permissions and network use

Version 1.0 does not request camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, location, notification, or tracking permission. Network access is used for Firebase Analytics, Apple and RevenueCat purchase services, and links you choose to open.

5. Support

If you choose to open a public GitHub support issue, GitHub processes the information you submit. Do not include customer names, job addresses, proprietary formulas, TDS/SDS files, photos, Apple ID details, credentials, or payment information.

6. Retention, children, and changes

FinishDial is a professional workflow utility and is not directed to children. Local records remain until you erase them or delete the App. Apple, RevenueCat, Firebase, and GitHub retain information they process under their own policies and legal obligations. We will update this page before releasing materially different data practices.
